Today, we transport over 1,500 children with special education needs to over 17 schools across the West Midlands and Warwickshire. We have introduced cutting edge safety systems, certified and accredited safeguarding training and digital operations platforms to improve real time KPI performance monitoring, contract compliance and governance. Our drive is to provide commissioners with high quality, reliable and value for money solutions for home to school transport.
Listening to understand
Through our partnership approach, we have listened carefully to understand the key concerns that Local Authorities, parents, and schools face. We see that one of the critical challenges for all is the visibility of information and how a school route is performing at any given time. We also understand that safeguarding, child safety and trust are paramount to any successful home to school transport service. For example, we monitor driving standards through cutting edge dash cam technology, all of our drivers receive frequent coaching and training to enhance driving standards to keep them at the very top of their profession and all employees are subject to random alcohol and drug tests.

We believe in the power of digital as a way to help our people do a better job, and deliver an enhanced customer experience and greater value to our stakeholders. We have partnered with 365 Response, a leading provider of home to school digital platforms. This platform will provide access to real time performance information, and live vehicle tracking and deliver efficient routing solutions all of which result in a superior home to school solution.
Parents will be able to track the status of their child’s transport reducing anxiety, stress and frustration. Schools and local authorities will be able to view a suite of KPI information to enable them to monitor the performance of the routes and we will be able to maximise resources in order to improve service quality and provide better value for money.
Safeguarding assurance
Safeguarding is our priority and we know how important it is to our parents, schools and local authorities. We have partnered with award winning SEN training company Spectrum to create a bespoke Safeguarding course for our people, which goes beyond the basics in MIDAS and PATS, to provide a CPD accredited qualification. All of our drivers and passenger assistants/escorts also have a fully enhanced DBS check.
From the moment we collect a child to when we drop them back home again, we will ensure that they are cared for in a safe environment. Our philosophy for our drivers is simple - they are carers who drive.
