Here are just some of our fantastic team who are helping us to deliver the safest and most reliable accessible minibus services across the UK.

Vinay Parmar - Managing Director

Vinay is our Managing Director, leading our mission to “Transform how customers feel about life by re-imaging accessible transport to make it enjoyable, easy and effortless to use.”

Vinay has been with National Express since 2015. In his previous role as UK Customer and Digital Experience Director, he was responsible for digital transformation and winning customer loyalty. Prior to joining National Express, Vinay spent over a decade as a freelance consultant working with leading brands in the financial services, telecoms, automotive and travel sectors.

Fun fact: Doesn’t like cricket….he loves it!

Sally-Ann McKevitt - Head of Service Development

Sally has been with the company since 2004. Her role is focussed on developing the business and new opportunities for growth, including managing our contractual relationships.

Sally finds working for NEAT incredibly rewarding. She loves watching the company grow and develop as well as the important part we play in supporting the wider community, and making a real change to people's lives.

Fun fact: Sally’s a very happy person with a love for adrenaline!

Laura Oversby - Head of Training & Driver Competence

Laura started with National Express in 2005 and joined the NEAT team in 2019.

She’s the driving force in building relationships with key organisations such as the DVSA, DVLA and JAUPT to ensure the training and service we deliver is of the highest standard within the industry.

Fun fact: She completed a shift with the West Midlands Police traffic unit after they completed some training on our buses. Laura said it was an exciting and adrenaline filled evening where she experienced their amazing advanced driving skills, maintaining control and safety at all times - even at high speeds!

Samuel Houlders - Head of Service Delivery

Sam joined National Express in 2010 as a Controller for the UK Coach network. After he completed the company’s graduate training programme, he worked for National Express West Midlands, managing bus depots and teams of up to 600 people in South Birmingham and Coventry.

Sam joined NEAT in 2019. He is a passionate believer in transport as an enabler for social mobility and the value it can bring to people’s lives. He’s also a self-confessed lover of technology and takes great enjoyment in bringing about organisational change through technology.

Fun fact: Sam once turned down a meeting with the then-Prime Minister Tony Blair in order to take his driving test!

Robert Griffith - Commercial Finance Manager

Robert has been within the NEAT team since 2019. He loves the social aspects that we offer as a transport provider and although work can be challenging sometimes, he wouldn’t change it for the world.

Fun fact: Robert is the real-life Ironman. He has completed two full distance Ironman challenges and 10 half distance challenges. One of his favourite hobbies is triathlons!

Steve Martin - Fleet Engineer

Steve started with National Express in 1977 as an apprentice. He’s clocked up an incredible number of years’ service since then, moving into the role of craftsman for 10 years and then gaining his first management role in 1991.

He worked in most of our bus garages across the West Midlands and joined NEAT in July 2019. Steve is now responsible for vehicle safety and compliance standards.

Fun fact: Due to Steve’s unique lack of knowledge regarding spreadsheets (his own words!), he is known as Mr Google.
